About Ivette Smith
Ivette Smith is a multi-genre nonfiction author whose work blends practical wisdom, lived experience, and a deep belief in lifelong learning. Born in Puerto Rico and shaped by a 23-year career in the U.S. Air Force, she draws on a global perspective formed while living in Europe for 15 years. After retiring in 2008, Ivette continued expanding her horizons, earning a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and later pursuing a Master of Science in Data Science. Her writing journey began during recovery from injury, when putting words on the page became both therapy and a lifeline.
